Arenal Beach
Arenal Beach in Javea is the most popular for a good reason. The beautiful beach has been called a "near perfect" beach by the WHO, who has given it a blue-flag status for its cleanliness. Arenal is enjoyed by visitors every year who flock to the soft sand beaches to bask in the sun and cool off in the blue waters of the Mediterranean. Various activities are available on the beach, and visitors can take part in a game of volleyball or hire snorkelling gear and enjoy a swim. Showers and bathrooms are accessible on the beach, and life guards patrol the area.
Along the back of the beach, there is a long promenade that is home to several bars, cafes and restaurants. The walk is just over a mile and a half long and is an excellent place to enjoy a leisurely stroll and benefit from the surrounding views. The promenade livens up in the evenings with several stalls selling jewellery and different kinds of souvenirs. The bars offer a range of tapas and live music can be heard along the beach. Restaurants serve a great range of different cuisine, which can be enjoyed while watching the sun set over the beach.
