Businesses For Sale

2015 Is an excellent time to consider starting a business in Spain, as the country experienced it’s largest drop in unemployment since adopting the Euro 16 years ago in December 2014; a positive sign that Spain is now emerging from the economic slump that began with the global recession in 2008.

The Spanish government has introduced labour market reforms during the last few years to boost its stimulate economic growth in the country. After years of recession, the economy is expanding  and expected to grow by 1.6% in 2015, according to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development.

Foreign business buyers in Spain are often attracted to bars and restaurants, but you should be aware that running a bar in Spain is not always as glamourous as it appears. While working a bar can be great fun and a fabulous way to meet people, you will need to work long hours and you will probably find you spend far more time in the bar than you spend out of it. However, many expats opt to go this route and once established are able to employ staff to take care of the brunt of the work and enjoy a quality lifestyle.
